Just wondering what would be my next thing to upgrade to increase gaming performance.
PC Specs:
-Intel Core i7-3820, 3700MHz
-Mobo Chipset is Intel Patsburg C600/x79, Intel Sandy Bridge-E
-16GB DDR3-1600 SDRAM(11-11-11-28 @ 800MHz
-Superclocked GTX 980 Ti(6GB)
-850 EVO 250GB SSD for OS and a few other programs or games i need to load fast and a 2 TB HHD for mass storage

Any Tips on what I could upgrade to get better performace? And please spare me on the GPU...I bought it a month before the 1080 came out and ive kicked myself in the ass more then you can imagine. Thanks in advance.

I'd upgrade CPU.

Without changing MoBo, you're looking at i7-3930K,

pcpp: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/XLZQzy/intel-cpu-bx80619i73930k

Or you can go with Intel's newest Kaby Lake CPU, an i5-7600K,

With Kaby Lake CPU, you're also looking new CPU cooler, new MoBo, new DDR4 RAM and new Windows license.

CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 67.8 CFM...
