I've been noticing my computer gets some pretty high temperatures when under intense use (84C max)

I've tried dusting my computer but that doesn't seem to have worked. (not overclocked btw)

Any suggestions on how to make my PC not fry?

Working on the assumption that you've never pulled the heat sink off your CPU since it was installed, I would suggest that you carefully remove it, clean off all the (by now dried up) thermal paste from the sink as well as the CPU before applying new paste and re seating the sink. Be sure to blow out any dust from the heat sink fins while you are at it.
Also, make sure that you have sufficient air flow through your chassis.
