Can't see rpm/CPU FAN ERROR

Cheers, it seems like i cannot see the the RPM on my intel stock cooler(checked bios,hw monitor,speedfan) also when i open the pc i get the CPU fan error thing, is my motherboard dying, is the stock faulty? please help!

Hello... Fans are a mechanical device and will fail time to time in different ways... Re-check the connection at the MB... "Stock" replacements or 12 Vdc 4-pin Fans/coolers are easily available too... so you can Test the MB RPM input/controller too.

You can check your Local computer re-cycling store or Local computer shop too... a "Intel" stock fan typically get replaced with a different Fan/Cooler... so there are many to be found. Typically you can "Un-clip" the FAN from the existing mounting without having to remove it or re-thermal paste the CPU. B /
