Looking for help please

in need of help i dont want to waste money on something that wouldnt give me good results atm i have a Amd a8 7670k and a rx 460 4gb and no idea what i should upgrade to give better gaming results was looking at a intel i5 7700k and a new mobo/ram. or getting a new gpu a gtx 1060 6gb any tips would help me. cheers any tips

The GPU should be your first upgrade. Once that's done, the CPU will be the weak link. If you upgrade the CPU now, you'd see less improvement per dollar spent.

For the GPU, the RX480 is good, as is the GTX 1060. However, in your case, even the 1050 Ti would be a worthwhile upgrade.

Once you have the new GPU, then you can start worrying about the CPU if it still isn't fast enough for you. The Core i5-6400 or -6500K are both good options.

Install MSI Afterburner to manage fan speeds.
