Mouse going too many pages when I click button

When I'm on a page, if I press the mouse button to scroll down a single page, it goes a bunch of pages at once. This has happened before and unplugging and plugging the mouse back in would fix it for awhile, but now it's doing it even when I do that. I'm using Windows 10.

Via the Windows "Gear" (Settings) icon, go to Devices > Mouse & touchpad.

Check the directly presented Mouse settings and then the Related settings (Additional mouse options). Serveral tabs therein.

Hopefully just a configuration problem....
