Hello everyone. Before I get started, here's the basics of my setup:
AND FX-4300 (old card)
AMD FX-6300 (new card)
EVGA GTX 1050Ti
750W PAY
GA-78LMT-S2

The issue I'm having is no display or signal on monitor on boot. Using HDMI. Have tried other cords, And is yes plugged in.
I encountered the error after attempting to change my CPU to the 6300. It sounds and boots like normal. All fans running, etc. But gives no signal.
Switching back to old processor, same thing now happens.
My gpu doesn't use a cord for power, just snaps in to mobo. I'm thinking I may have shot the motherboard during installation but not sure.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated

CMOS?
How do I do this?

Also I noticed: neither my mouse, keyboard, or WiFi adapter are receiving power/signal from the computer as well. So seems to be an issue with anything being plugged into it.

Tried to remove mobo battery for 5 mins and reinsert, still the same.

No speaker on mobo.

As I look at the 6300, it does look like a couple pins on the bottom are bent. But the 4300 is still flawless.

Possible I messed up something in where the CPU attaches to the mobo??

Update:
I tried to reinstall my old GPU to see if it was a gpu issue and it is not. Old gpu spit no signal either.

Left mobo battery out for 8 hours or so over night and reinstalled, still same issue.

Hmm.

okay guys, I have a question here about this that might be a resolution.

if I can't get it to POST or update bios via shorting 2 pins for cmos or removing battery, with 2 different cpus(the old one does the same as new now and both are on same BIOS revision), what should my next step be?

I'm thinking to use a different computer, download the bios file to a flash drive and to try and get it to post/update bios on startup that way. thoughts?? advice??
