Hello, this is my first thread on this forum and sorry if it's the wrong category but I think I couldn't find anywhere else to write this.

Like 3 months and a half ago I got my new components, here is the list:

MOBO: Asus H170 PRO GAMING
CPU: Intel Core i5 6400
GPU: Asus ROG Strix RX 460 4GB
RAM: 16gb 2133mhz ddr4
HDD: western digital blue 600gb
windows 10 x64

and in these last few months I have been going through little problems that made me worry about my PC's health. I started writing this after one of these problems. I'll detail them for you:

1- monitor shuts down out of nothing. this usually happens when im not looking, but suddenly my 1600x900 monitor enters "no signal" mode, as if the computer suddenly stopped outputting video signal. when this happens i try to turn my PC off from the case's button but i got no response from my PC, which forces me to keep pressed the button until it turns off and reboots manually. it's an HDMI monitor btw.

2- computer completely freezes. You can be doing anything, literally anything in this computer and it can freeze, like entirely. ctrl+alt+supr doesnt work, power off button and reset button dont work as well, screen gets completely frozen as well as the cursor, and after a few minutes the lights of the keyboard and mouse turn off as well. this freaks me out because i cant find what's the problem.

these are for now the major issues ive been experimenting in the last few months. if you guys are lacking of some detail I might know that could be useful that'd be great. thanks a lot!

Solution
Problems like these i find interesting albeit annoying as well. I'll share a few thoughts, but i'm basically just brainstorming.
Overheating seems very unlikely because it happens at random work loads.
Bad RAM would probably not show it self this way, but i would do a memtest86 and a reseat of the RAM just to be sure.
Faulty power supplies usually shows themselves at high power drain ie. big work load, with a complete shutdown. That or it wont power up at all. It will never freeze the screen as you says, so i think we can count this out.

Mostly it sounds like a malfunctioning motherboard or GFX in my ears.

Do you have another GFX to test with for a couple of days? Other RAM's? Another PSU? The more spare parts you have, the faster you...
