Keep everything else as is. Although Ryzen is a big improvement over recent AMD chips, all reviews state that the i7 7700 blows the doors off the 1700 and is much less expensive to purchase... and to operate. The motherboard does everything the AMD4 does and is also less expensive. All other components will transfer well.

Here is the article where the 7700 is put up against the 1700: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-ryzen-vs-intel-kaby-lake-gaming,4977.html

Both should perform quite well.

Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut outperforms Arctic Silver 5.

How many monitors. The Radeon Rx 460 2GB offers a better value in price and performance. It supports three monitors (five with adapter).

Extra thermal compound is not necessary when you have a D15. Noctua includes stuff that's just as good if not better than most pastes you can buy. Silver 5 is inexplicably overrated.

OP - What kind of programs are you intending to run with this system? If you really want to run Ryzen on that kind of budget, you should at least wait for the R5s and see what kind of horsepower those bring. If you really need the extra cores the R7s are probably better for that, but again it would all depend on the types of programs being run.
