OK, here's the story.
I currently have a GTX1070 ($450) sitting on my desk still boxed. The GTX1080 came down in price ($500) and now I'm considering send back this 1070 and buying a 1080 instead for, ultimately, $50 more.

Should I return this 1070 I have now and pay $50 more for the 1080 or just keep the 1070 I have? WWYD?

Here is what I have now and what I would get:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?CompareItemList=-1%7C14-125-936%5E14-125-936%2C14-125-876%5E14-125-876

Remember, not all models clock speeds are created equal.
So.. WWYD?

UPDATE:
Thank you!! I got the MSI GTX 1080 DUKE. Did my stress test and all good to go! I went from ~96% usage on medium settings to 43% usage on high settings in siege.

Thanks so much guys. I was just skeptical because I have a higher-end model 1070 and would be getting a lower-end 1080.... and the 1080 core and memory clock speed is lower than the 1070 sitting on my desk.
