i have a not bad laptop with a i5-4210 with 8gb ddr3 and a nvidia 840m but its says on the lowest graphics that is is running at 80 to 120 fps but i dont see it getting even close to 60fps. it is always stuttering and cant even think of running it with any higher graphics please help.

Are you sure you are using the nvidia gpu and not the intel HD integrated gpu? if you 'right click' the Minecraft icon you should be able to let it run on the the 'strong nvidia graphics card' or something in those lines. 
I just had a look and it says that is running my graphics card as default. and double checked it is running on the graphics card with the nvidia activity. but is still stuttering like crazy
How much RAM have you dedicated to Minecraft? On my old laptop with 8GB RAM, I told Minecraft to always use 4GB. It may be defaulting to 1GB or less, and Minecraft without enough RAM is very laggy and could even crash due to running out of memory.
