Hi i have a virus on my HDD which i have tried every way imaginable to remove but it will not go, This in turn means my pc is slow and my games and things like google maps and other little bits have half stopped working correctly. I have decided to by an SSD but my OS is on the HDD, will i be able to install my chrome and important games onto the SSD and run them without interuption from the virus or not? also is there anyway for me to get windows 10 again without having to buy it again?

You can remove virus even from that HDD by erasing it, formatting and installing windows anew. W10 once installed and activated with digital license on a computer can always be reinstalled without buying new ones.
Same goes if you switch to or ad SSD. Fact that it's SSD has nothing to do with what software is used. That goes for viruses and any kind of mallware. Protection against mallware is all up to you.
