Hi,

I want to upgrade my pc soon. I currently have a GTX 1070 with an i7 875k, wich of course creates a bottleneck. I saw an advertisement of an upgrade kit with a i5 7600k, the z270x ultra gaming and 16gb of ddr4 @2666mhz for 560 euros (which is a good deal in the Netherlands). But since the kaby lake lineup only had a marginal advantage over the skylake lineup, I considered buying an i7 6700k. That bundle includes the i7, the z270 SLI PLUS and 16gb of ddr4 for 535 euros. But here comes the weird part, for only 30 euros more I can get the 7700k and can choose between the SLI PLUS and gaming pro version of the board. Pretty good deal right?
I couldn't find any good deals for the i5 6600k.

Do you guys have any suggestions? My goals are a fast pc, which can game at high fps on ultra.

Current specs:
GTX 1070 FTW
I7 875K with corsair h55
MOBO: MSI P55-65

Thanks :)

At this point I'm not recommending i5's anymore for high-end gaming. A 6700K is hands-down a better CPU than a 7600K. In fact, a stock i7 7700 on a cheap B250 board, using the stock cooler, would probably be better in most cases than a 7600K, and potentially much cheaper too.
