Hello, Today when looking inside my PC i have seen that i do not know much about it at all. So with that said, i have a few question that need answered.

-Do all GPU'S require the power to be run directly to them, Or do some of them get powered from the motherboard. (Particularly wondering about the GTX 1050TI 4gb)

-With the GTX 1050TI 4gb will a 300W power supply be sufficient enough for the time being. (i3-2100 3.1ghz being the CPU)

Thank you everyone in advance.

Yes.

The motherboard provides GFX cards(all of them) up to 75W of power. After that threshold is exceeeded PCIe supplementary power cables are needed. An extra six pin will provide up to an additional 75W. An extra 8 pin will provide up to 150W.

The 1050 TI is 75W card which means the PCIe slot will feed it enough food.

The system specs say

300W or greater power supply.
PCI Express, PCI Express 2.0 or PCI Express 3.0 compliant motherboard with one graphics slot.

That means a quality 300W PSU will power it. 300W is the maximum power the PSU will offer. It doesn't consistently provide it's maximum output. So that means that your PSU most likely will be just fine if you add a 1050Ti.

Generally speaking, yes, 300w is the minimum required PSU for a 105Ti as long as there's enough AMPs on the 12v rail (24A if I recall correctly). Also, some cards do require 6 or 8 pin power connections from the PSU, but the 1050Ti is not one of them.
