Hi Thats My Pc
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16 - 3.17Ghz
4GB ram
Windows 7 32 Bit [ win 10 sux xd ]
Nvidia GT 610 2GB DDR3
And Finally The MotherBoard - GA-G41-S2P

so i want to know if nvidia gtx 750 ti or 980 ti will work with this motherboard

Solution

Yes the motherboard would support either. However, the 980Ti would be extreme overkill for that system. If you have no plans on upgrading the entire system in the next couple of years, I would suggest the 750 Ti of those two. Also, you did not provide your PSU specs, but if it can power the 610, I will just guess and say it should be able to power the 750 Ti (very low PSU requirements).

That depends. If you are satisfied with your system in general, and just want a better graphics card? No. Keep it and buy the 750 Ti. It's a good upgrade and you don't need to change anything out.

However, if you're not satisfied with your system, I would not just recommend a new motherboard, but rather an entire new system with current-gen or at least last-gen parts. Replacing just the motherboard alone won't do you much good.

In order to use a 980ti you would need a New Motherboard, CPU, and probably power supply. The Core 2 Duo is nearly a decade old. You will not get very good performance out of a 980ti with that system.
