Hello folks,
Since yesterday my PC is crashing after a few minutes of playing when my GPU reaches approx. 67-70°C. This crash is 100% reproducable with any kind of benchmarking tool. This issue happened to me on the 17.1.2 driver, on the newest 17.3.3 driver and even happened on 16.11.5 after downgrading again(note: i downgraded without using windows safe mode, may that change anything?). Ive tested the on-board graphics card and everything worked fine.
When crashing the PC does not react to any input and the screen then appears to be checkered white/yellow/blue. The color is always different. Also the PC keeps running and I have to cut power and restart it manually.
Graphics:
AMD Radeon R9 280X
Operating System:
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64Bit
Processor
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670k CPU 3.40GHz, 3401MHz, 4 Cores
First thought is that the GPU or the PSU is damaged.
Do you guys probably have some ideas?
Thanks in advance
