I looked further into overclocking through BIOS, and figured out how to use the voltage settings I have. I can't just enter a number, I have to set it with the + or - range. Set it to 1.41V, and set multiplier to run at 4.0GHz, with turbo disabled, and LLC set to normal. Loaded in, and ran 10 minutes of small FFTs in P95 with no problems, and a max temp of 48C. I just have a few questions about things I noticed.

1. I noticed in CoreTemp that the VID, which I'm assuming is the VCore held a steady 1.25V max while testing, while CPU-Z went as high as 1.356. I don't understand that.

2. In both CPU-Z and CoreTemp, the frequency would range from 3.0 to 4.0 at any given time. If I set it to run at 4.0, why is it dipping to 3.0?

Any help with answering these two questions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Solution
1.44V is quite high for a 4.2 GHz overclock.
Try a higher clock with the same voltage, and use HWmonitor/CPU-Z to check voltage droops under load. At 1.44V your chip most likely can get 4.3-4.4+ GHz.

With that H60, you can probably increase voltage to 1.5V and run a 4.8 GHz. FX 9590 runs at 4.7 GHz on a 120mm cooler too.

Source: My FX 4350. Ever did 5 GHz @1.632V stable, now degraded. Dont ever go above 1.50-1.55V.

EDIT: Your voltage fluctuations might be the cause of excess voltage requirements. Increase LLC to Medium. Then try 1.475V 4.5-4.6.
