Good afternoon :)

I am building a new system and I am having issues getting the motherboard to post and get to bios, here are the details of the system:

Phanteks eclipse 400 case
Asus z270e strix motherboard
i7 7700k cpu
Corsair h60 cooler
thermaltake 750w toughpower grand power supply
32g gskill tridentz ddr4 memory
evga 1070 sc gpu

The symptoms - When I power on the PC the rgb light on the z270e turns on, the motherboard pwr led is lit orange, no system fans spin, no beep code, no other mb code. The powersupply turns on has lights and the fans spin and work on it.

What I have tried -
1. Swapping around memory dimms to different slots, trying only 1 stick in different slots
2. Verifying, checking, double checking all connectors: CPU power, motherboard power, fan connectors, cpu fan connectors
3. Removing memory
4. Removing graphics card and using onboard video
5. Disconnecting usb3.0 case connecton and audio case connection
6. Removing cmos battery and reseating

I'm starting to think I have a dead motherboard, thoughts, opinions, ideas? Any help would be great!

That is what I have tried, no luck. I will give it one more go like that when I get home though, just the cpu fan and the case's power button. I will disconnect the other case fans and the case reset\hdd indicator.

The standoffs were preinstalled, it is 2x16gb sticks.

I've tried using both sticks individually in all slots. I've also tried without any memory just trying to get to bios or an error code or anything.
