My config :

Processor : Intel Core-i5 4570 with Cooler Master Hyper 412

Ram : Avexir 16GB DDR3

Motherboard : Asus H81M-E

GPU : Gigabyte 980 Ti G1

Case : Thermaltake A31

PSU : Corsair RM850

So the problem started about 1 week ago.My computer suddenly froze during playing overwatch. Before the pc was running for about 17-18 hours. When it froze it displayed some pink color on screen.I restarted the pc.But after 10 min the same problem occured.PC froze and some color would appear on screen.i looked into the vent viewer and it said I left the pc off for a while. When i started it again it went fine.i didn't play any games right away,I thought updating to latest driver would solve the problem. Then when installing driver pc froze again and i got some multicolored stripes on screen.next i couldn't start the pc without removing gpu.the internal gpu went fine. The bios beep code states that it can't find the video device if i set the video ouput to pci.

All this time when the gpu was connected the fans would run and the logo would light up.But the power delivery portion of the pcb ( that would be the right side ) would get hot. Also i had some asus anti surge reboot before.

So is it a psu problem ? Is it possible that the psu is delivering wrong power to the gpu or something ? i already got the replacement card from warranty.haven't plugged it in yet.and i don't have any other working spare gpu to try. Also my friends don't play games. So i cannot test the psu with them also.

If you don't have parts to troubleshoot, take it to a PC repair place. They can swap the power supply and GPU and see which one has the problem, likely for their diagnostic fee only.

They'll obviously then try to sell you the replacement, but just be up front about it.
