I have a Alienware 13 Laptop with an Intel i7-4700M processor, windows 7, 8GB of RAM, and a nVidia GeForce 750m graphics card. I've had it for three years and used it for gaming the entire time, mainly for Smite and GameCube games on dolphin. I never had any problems until about a month ago when I started having fps issues. I can no longer run Dolphin at a steady 60 fps and Smite now hovers around 50 fps instead of the ~100 it used to, and there are CPU Usage spikes while gaming much larger than there used to be.
I have made sure my drivers are up to date, ran multiple anti malware programs to make sure I don't have a virus, and done just about everything else I could think of to attempt to fix it.
And ideas on what could be the issue or how to solve it?
