Running desktop 24/7, bad for cpu?

So I'm just gonna assume the answer to this is yes. But I'll ask anyways.

Is it bad to run my desktop constantly and never turn it off with the cpu load being around 60-70% the whole time.

The cpu stays average around 60 celcius.

If the answer to this is yes, whats a safe temp, and load to run it at 24/7?

Not gonna bother explaining why i need to run it this long, just want some answers. Thank you :)

Solution
go into bios/uefi and edit the fan chart

maybe to 90 degrees or above 100 percent.

80 degrees 80 percent

the reset of the time 50 percent.

fans have finite life expectancy. they will fail sooner or later, so 100 percent is not needed. on the fan chart in bios, your target should be looking like a parabola.

I'd try to get it down a bit more (55C or below) if you are going to be running for weeks straight.

ANy reccomendations? I've configured the settings in the programs I'm running to consume as little cpu power as possible. Clsoing out of everything besides these programs still leaves the cpu around 60 celcius.

I suppose make the room colder? But thats not really a viable option as the room is already 65 F. And it's my bedroom lol.

I plan on buying a new cpu soon anyways, so if I'm shortening the life span on this one, I really don't mind.

Yeah it won't kill it, just shorten the life span.

Do you have your fans on high?

There is no physical setting on my tower to turn up fan speed. Is there a program I may install to turn up fan speeds?

The temperature is safe.
However, why is it running 60-70 percent all of the time? Is it running a bitcoin or a cpu intense software all of the time?
edit: I'm thinking it (running a computer 24/7)won't damage the cpu one bit. All you'll do is run up your electricity bill.

Yes I am running software that needs to be running 24/7. However I have just figured out how to configure speedfan and have cranked my cpu fan up to 100%(was at 45%)

Now the temp averages out around 55, rather than 60 :)

one other thing is that you need to take care that all case fans and especially those on the heatsink. If one of those fans stop spinning, heat will kill cpu.
but that's not because you ran the computer 24/7, that's just a fan that could stop running anytime.

SO what do you reccomend to take care of cpu fan and case fans? Is running cpu fan at 100% a bad idea?
