Hi Guys,

Today I order a new graphic card (SAPPHIRE Radeon™ R9 380 NITRO, 4GB GDDR5, 256-bit, Back Plate) and I want to know if it safe to connect on my generic PSU, Delux 550W, PFC pasive, ATX 2.03, Black, on my system.
This video card requires two 6pin power connection but I have only one. I find a Molex to 6pin cable to provide the second power cable.

Please advice me if it's ok to do this.

My system :

Mainboard : ASRock Fatal1ty FM2A88X+ Killer [ FM2A88X+ KILLER ;
Processor :AMD Godavari A10-7860K, 3600MHz, Quiet Cooler, 4MB, Socket FM2+, Box; (onbloard graphics);
Memory : ADATA XPG V3 16GB DDR3 2400MHz CL11 Dual Channel Kit ;
HDD 1 : Solid State Drive (SSD) AMD Radeon R3, 240GB, 2.5'', SATA III;
HDD 2 : HDD Toshiba DT01ACA 2TB, 7200rpm, 64MB cache, SATA III ;
DVD-RW : Toshiba;

Not gonna lie, I wouldn't run any system with that PSU. If it actually puts out its rated value and has the proper PCIe connections (don't use adapters) though it should be ok. Just be aware that running a system with a PSU like this is introducing unnecessary risk.

EDIT: Just read that it only has 1 6pin. You might be able to run it with molex to 6pin for a little while, but you should upgrade your PSU ASAP if you want to run that card.

I find a solution......I change my PSU with a new one (the store accept to change it with a new one + difference), Thermaltake Litepower 650W, 230V. What can I say, a big difference between no name DELUX and THERMALTAKE, from the box, till the last detail. Everything went smooth and nice.

Almost 20 bucks, but I sleep well now :). I purchased the GPU at a very good price so this difference is very reasonable. Can You recommend me a few games ?

Best regards
