Can a 1050 ti watch videos in 4k and 1440

I made a build and I switched out a 1060 to a 1050 ti because im not going to be playing many games. Will the 1050 ti be able to watch videos in 4k and in 1440. I can always upgrade the gpu later on

If the rx470 is cheaper you can. If you do not plan to play games you do not need more than the integrated graphics. I would suggest following 13thmonkey's advice and watch 4k simply using your intel graphics. It will work, and you can then decide if a GPU is needed.

Precisely what are you using it for?

4k video watching , igpu is fine (if not get a GPU)

Any gaming greater than 1080p, and anything below a 1060 (1070 ideally) will struggle.

Then get a GPU, FPS will be poor if you only use the iGPU.
