Just installed a 525gb SSD in my desktop leaving my current HDD 1 tb. Clean installed Windows 10 on the ssd and formatted the hdd for data. Everything is working great but I've been reading so many tweaks for the ssd that I'm getting confused.
1. Should I turn off the swap file for the ssd?
2. Should I turn off indexing on the ssd?
3. Can I install my programs on the ssd and use the hdd for the data?
4. Is there any other tweaks currently that I should be aware of?

I know ssd has come a long way from just a couple of years ago. So what are the current thoughts and practices for 2017 SSDs?

Thanks for any help and info!

Don't do anything if you installed it right. Is SATA in AHCI mode ? That's about all you have to worry about in modern SSDs and modern OS (W7-SP1 and up) !!
3. Yes you can do that if needed but it may be large enough to keep all most important programs/games on it and use HDD just for data storage and backups.
