I tried to update the bios of my laptop N5010 running windows 10. I used a flashing download from Dell support page. When I initialised the update, the fan went crazy for a few seconds and then the laptop went quite for a few minutes with the screen black. I got worried and panicked so I decided to forceably turn it off and turn it on again. The laptop turned on, I can hear there is activity shown in the background, fan is working normally but I have a black screen and a repeated beep coming in one second intervals continuous coming of the speakers.I understand that one beep means motherboard problem. I tried all the remedies found on the net, like taking off the battery, discharge the capacitors , I even took apart the laptop and put it back together. But NOTHING.
This is my only laptop that I have and I just can not believe that its ruined. I pray the God that there is someone reading this and knows how to fix it. Thank you so much.

Generally when the BIOS update fails, the motherboard dies you could have bricked your Laptop. Its normal that the fan runs at full speed during BIOS update
You can try again removing battery and ac power and press power button for atleast 15 secs. Then put it back everything and turn on.
If went good, run this diagnostics test

Thank you for your reply, this was the first that I did as a solution after the incident.
Unfortunately it didnt work. I read somewhere a solution by pressing the insert button together with the scroll button before you power on the laptop but I dont have a scroll button to press. Any thoughts about this.
Thank you
