That's a LGA771 server CPU. It would not work in the 755 socket type without modification.

I have seen the item description
They said that it wont work on any branded mobo
So it wont work

I would go with an Core 2 Quad instead. Even if the CPU is well modified, you won't know if your motherboard will support it.

It does work, installed Xeon x5460 in this exact motherboard. Be sure to execute the bios update utility to flash 0017, even if it says you already have that.
