Hello everyone recently my internet provider changed my modem with no wi-fi in which comes the fiberlink cable into a modem with wi-fi but no antenas (gigabyte), it has 2 ports one is a 1000mbps port that goes into my PC , and the other one is a 100mbps port which goes into my second router (non-gigabyte) that i already had before the update from them, the routers pretty much have the same range, the one with antennas obviously winning , my question is: Should i remove the second router to have higher internet speed on PC and/or wireless?

Solution
In your case the ZTE is better hardware, the WR841N is a bottom end router, and it will also bottlneck everything to 100mbps if you have a faster intentnet conenction.

If you had a better router then the better option is to dissable routing funtions in the ZTE:
1) you would need to get PPPoE username/password from ISP for your personal router
2) Access ZTE settings page and check if WAN IP is static or dynamic/auto DHCP; if static then write down ip/subnet/gateway
3) In ZTE settings page dissable wifi and set it bridge mode in wan settings
4) Go into your router and set connection type to PPPoE and static or dynamic/auto DHCP depending on step 2, then input username/password from step 1.

The only reason i can find to split your internet speed of your first router into second router is too reach larger distances (helping if there is another pc on any second floor rooms, etc )

You only "split" internet speed by using it as a wireless repeater and that is because it is a single radio having to talk to botht he router and the client devices. Connecting the 2 with ethernet does not in any way split the bandwidth.

Most often the ISP provided router/modems are crap and a dedicated router does a better job. Configuring the router/mouter to work in modem only mode/bridged mode and use your own router is best for performance
