So my laptops wireless adapter isn't working. It doesn't show up (qualcomm) on device managers or on my network adapters. The wifi logo on the bottom right of my desktop is a red cross sign. I've tried many fixes on different forums, uninstalling the driver and scanning hardware changes, installing multiple drivers, but the problem still prevails. But it's only happened this afternoon right after I came home bringing my laptop from school which at the time, the wifi was working. So I suspect that my wireless card may be broken due to gradual physical damages to my 3 year old laptop, since its been working fine until I got home from bringing it. So hopefully I can get an answer here. Could my wireless card be damaged? Is there a method I haven't tried to fix my wireless adapter? At the moment I'm using an ethernet cable which is perfectly fine but defeats the purpose of the portability of a laptop. Thanks

Should also mention that my laptop is a acer V5 573G
