So i was just fooling around one day and ended up on Origins website. It looked pretty cool so i decided to customize a PC, its really fun to do. So as i was doing this and i got to the end my total was outrageous!! I mean like it made no sense. So then i decided to look into it more. I then just went with a default build. I chose all of the cheapest items. Such as an I3 CPU and a 1050 TI GPU. And the total came out to a mind boggling $1800. Now im no PC wizard but i browse Newegg and Amazon a lot so i know prices pretty well. And this is an outright scam or something. The prices never add up and are always around $800 overpriced. And i factored in labor cost and stuff like that, and it still makes no sense. Let me know what you guys think. :)

This is nothing new. It's the main reason many of us started building our own PCs in the first place.

When you pay for a pre-built system, you're not just paying for parts. You're paying for the components THEY choose, the parts and labor of putting it together, and probably most ridiculous, the Name Brand.

When you build it yourself, you have a much wider choice of quality components, and you save money on labor and name brand. That money saved could either stay in your bank account or go towards better components.
