I'd like to know whether the R7 250 1gb GDDR5 is good enough for playing popular games at 30+fps at 900p for a couple of years?
Medium settings up are great but I don't care if I have to lower them down in a few games. Examples of games I want to play: Star Wars Battlefront, GTA V, Watch Dogs 2 and Battlefield 4 or 1.

My specs are:
i5 3330
4gb RAM
500gb HDD
P8H61-mx Mobo
Cooler Master Elite 371 case
700W Alpine PSU (Gonna upgrade it in a few days to EVGA 600W 80+)

Don't want to spend much on the GPU because I'm getting a Playstation in under a year :)

Sadly, I do not live in the US and I found the RX 460 for $140

I don't actually know. I think that it's better to have a slightly worse PC and a console. Don't ask me why it's psychological :)

Why isn't the EVGA good enough?

I can understand that. Though all you'd really be missing out on are certain game titles that might not be able to be found on PC. The best of them can usually be found on most or all OS's and platforms. Having a console and a cheaper computer is an idea. However, if you put the resources you plan to spend for both into a single console killer PC build, you'd have a system with considerably better specs, components, performance. You'd also be able to use similar controllers to those found on consoles instead of just a mouse and keyboard, and still be able to play on your television. Just saying.

Sorry I mistook it. I did read it as 4 but wrote 2 by mistake. So I mean that 4 GB is also going to let you down. You're going to need 8.

It's a poor quality model.

I think used is your only choice. Where do you live?

-By poor quality `do you mean that it will blow up or do something else? I have anti-surge protection on my mobo.
-I re-thought about it and I found that it's more worth it to buy the RX460, even if it's priced $40 higher, right?

You're right, I think that I'll pay $40 more and get an RX460, it'll serve me a few years I suppose. I'll just get the Playstation a bit later. One more thing: is the Power Supply good enough? Will it catch fir or something?

Not exactly exploding but it could die too soon. But I don't mean the next day after you bought it.
Yeah you'll see a huge performance difference.

What do you exactly mean by dying? And how long will it last?

I mean that it wouldn't run anymore? Look that totally depends maybe suddenly too much power draw could be the result otherwise they are supposed to last 2-3 years. Why not just get a different PSU?

Is the Corsair VS650 650W Power Supply for $10 more good? Or else I found a VS550 550W one for only $5 more?

Generally it isn't a nice PSU as well. But it should do the job, go for it.

Which one 650W or 550W?

650w is overkill for a 460. You should go with the 550w.

Sorry. One more question: is the EVGA 500Bronze better than the VS 550W??? (They're priced exactly the same) Or maybe even a Cooler Master Elite ATX V2.3 500W?

Haha no problem. NO please don't get the Cooler Master one only few of theirs are good and this one is not included. I'd say the Antec one, these models from EVGA are poor quality.
