New cpu with old cpu cooler

I have cpu intel core 3200mhz 775 socket and can i use cooler for that cpu when i put intel dual core 3.0ghz e8400 s775??

The stock heatsink that would have come with either would be a basic aluminum heatsink and fan. Yes you can use it, but make sure you clean off the heatsink after you take it off the old CPU and apply NEW thermal compound on the CPU before putting it back on.
