So I upgraded to the 1080Ti FE.. went with FE because I plan to watercool in the next month or so when EK announce there ti waterblock even though the titan x block is compatible.
ANYWAYS...
Obviously no more DVI-D =\
I read that displayport gets 144hz and I checked my monitor to make sure that DP output is 144hz also.
My monitor is BenQ XL2420Z and the specifications according to their website are -
Hor. Frequency (KHz) VGA/HDMI:15kHz~83KHz
DVI-DL/DP: 30~140KHz
Ver. Frequency (Hz) VGA/HDMI: 24Hz~120Hz
DVI-DL/DP: 56~144Hz
So do I just have super generic old crap DP cables? or...?
Anybody link what cables they use to get 144hz? Or link ones that would definitely work?
I was looking at buying 2 of these - http://
I would greatly appreciate a quick response so I can get an order in on amazon for prime.
Thanks
Edit: ... might have found my own answer but still looking for input.
(Found on benq.us)
Input Connector: D-sub / DVI-DL / HDMIx2 /DP1.2/ Headphone jack
also when I try to set a custom resolution I have options like 720 x 576 at 144Hz (32-bit), etc
Maybe these cables don't have high enough data rate for 1080p at 144hz.
