Hi. Now I am currently borrowing an Avermedia LGP C875, and was really impressed with it at first. Everything worked fine, My setup at first was: [Monitor]-DVI to HDMi-[LGP]-HDMI-[PC]. There was a signal. I then installed the drivers and although there was a weird hyper saturation issue (probably the DVI to Hdmi adapter), but after much tinkering with the software, I was able to compensate with the colors.
The issue goes with after i disconnected it to test it out on some consoles using PC free mode (which works great), i reconnected the cables to my PC, and there was no signal towards the monitor, and the PC did not detect the LGP. But the situation got extremely weird after much trouble shooting.

Results of Trouble Shooting:
-When all cables are set, the LGP was not detected by Windows via HDMI, but is still detected by the USB. Same results via multiple ports.
-All the cables are in functioning order, tested with with consoles and PC. Including the DVI to hdmi from the monitor directly connected to the pc, the hdmi cable from the avermedia to console.
-When no cable is inserted to the out port of the LGP, Windows detects the LGP flawlessy through the IN port, as if it was a different monitor. When a cable is inserted into the out port from the monitor, immediately, Windows no longer detects the LGP. Unplugging the OUT port, once again, makes the LGP detectable
-The signal does feed through when the LGP is put into PC Free mode.

I'm thinking this issue is software related. Any Help?.

I believe that the issue may be software related. Any help?

Alright.... so out of just dumb thinking and such i was able to fix the issue. With the latest drivers and programs and such, whith everything plugged in..... What i did was unplugged the monitor, connected the cables, both hdmi and dvi to hdmi, and then plugged the monitor back in...Eureka!
Thank you to the one reader who was there with me since the beginning.
