Need some advice I'm looking to build a gaming PC (tower only)in the range of 500-700 Dollars I'd like to get small SSD for it just for the operating system and A game or two...I already own some pieces that I could use from my old gaming PC which include

1TB hard drive
4x 2gb DDR3 memory
DVD drive
Two monitors only one uses HDMI
Mouse and keyboard
PS, I could buy new memory if it would help the build any advice would be much appreciated

intel has been dropping newer cpu in a very short time. there not much faster these new cpu over the old ones. if you buy one of the newer cpu that use the newer x270 chipset in about a year or so the next cpu will drop and may not use the same pin out. on your build i would sell the ddr3 ram. you can still get some money for it. look at a locked i5 and a b270 mb and ddr4 ram. newer mb work better with windows 10. most newer gpu now have one dvi port and or one or two hdmi port and few display ports. if one of the monitors has dvi they do make a hdmi to dvi cables. on your build look for a good 650w power supply and the fastest gpu you can buy. the higher end the gpu is the longer the gpu will last.
