Hi,

I would like to start off to by saying thank you to anyone who has input on this build.
I am new to building PC's, I come from a career of being a elevator mechanic.
I thought with all the electronics I've dealt with I should be able to tackle building a PC.
When it comes down to combatibility I'm not to sure and need help finding the best parts for my best dollar.

Ok, Lets get into what I'm using the PC for.

Mainly the PC will be used as my audio production unit.
I use FL Studio 11 as my DAW. My Production contains heavy VST programs with large audio folders and lots of automation. I do live recording of intruments occasionally, and sample records occasionally as well. When I mix down my projects every sound usually has a EQ and reverb ect.. I currently have to adjust my ASIO usage for latency problems which is a issue for me. Every track I finish and upload to my website I have a folder on my computer containing multiple versions and exports to sell as trackouts, each sound is exported as a .WAV file in a folder that I zip and upload to a website for instant delivery of a instrumental upon purchase. I have multiple midi instruments that connect via USB.

As a secondary use I will be using my PC for Video/ Photo Production.
I use Sony Vegas for my video production. I use this to create videos to my music I've created
and upload to different website's for promotion. The videos usually contain a video file of a music artist with multiple overlays of text, filters and animation. As for my photo production I use photoshop, I use this to create thumbnails, logos, promotional advertising,

My current audio interface is a USB connection, I've been looking into interfaces via thunderbolt.
If I have an option to upgrade in the future and buy a thunderbolt interface it would be nice to only need to buy a new card.

Right now I'm only using one monitor, I will be upgrading in the future and will be running dual.
I do not need a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. I will need a copy of windows OS. This does not need to be included in my listed budget of $1000. If you have recommendations that will greatly increase the productivity of my computer and it will only cost a few more hundred dollars I would very much like to hear what you guys have to say.

Thanks in advanced,
Let me know if you need more information from me

also should note I live in Canada

I would recommend getting a ryzen 7 CPU. Their high core counts and large amounts of cache is exactly what you need. I would also recommend getting an M.2 for superfast storage (for your OS and programs), and a seagate or western digital hard drive (2 TB at least) for your music and videos.
