Hi , i am new to this and want to change my msata with a bigger 256gb, but my problem is i can see my old msata24Gb in bios configuration but it be NOT displayed in my explorer thus it have no drive ciffer, can any body help ?

Samsung Evo 840 256GB , In this forum a person reply he tryed with 256GB with no problem he mentioned even can use 500GB although his laptop was a Lenovo u410 model (the one without cd-drive)

Yes i can see it but i can not change to a drive letter , i can only convert to a DYNAMISK DISK , i do not know what happened if i do i suppose it destroy something on my boot-on if that still works , i have a feeling it have no more function.

Then maybe, in that particular laptop, that msata port is meant for a small 24GB or 32GB cache drive.
