First time builder here. Will a motherboard like this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131712 support an i5 6600 ??
Is this MB compatible with i5 6600 CPU ?

No that Motherboard is Socket 1155 you need a socket 1151 for an i5 6500. Look up H110/B150/H170/Z170 Motherboards for that CPU. The lower the cheaper. Hope this helps
