Found a AMD FX6300 + EVGA GTX 950 PC fully build with 8 gbs of ram 500 power supply for $250 on OfferUp I currently have no gaming pc because it broke is this a good deal? What questions should I ask to make sure it's Good

Well in that case if it is on the internet then it has to be true!!!

This is more of a medium to high settings depending on the game. Most likely either all the rest of the settings are tuned down or the resolution is turned down to see good frams on ultra in games tlike bf1/bf4 or GTA.

This is an end of life platform from 2012 and I am betting that the...

Contact the vendor and see what PSU it's using. If you're going to have to upgrade the PSU on top of the risk you're taking buying all used parts 9probably, if it's on offerup) then no, that was a $400 budget build in 2015.

There's hundreds of 500w power supplies, all of different quality. Try to get the model number.

Really? I've seen a lot of gameplay videos on this build with games such as gta v on ultra battelfiels battlefront overwatch all on 40-60 frames on max

with a Geforce 950 on a hefty clock you are probably looking at average 40 FPS in 1920*1080 in GTA V, and about 45 in Battlefield 4. There is plenty of reviews of that GPU out there.

What the wattage number is on the sticker can often be just that, some ink printed on a sticker.

A quality PSU means it has been tested for a long durration of time to output the max load, it also has many safeguards in it to prevent power surges or itself from damaing your parts. A cheap psu will likley not be able to sustain 250w load and after a while it will wear out and die and when it does it often fries the rest of your computer with it; some of these junk psus have sparked and caused house fires.

So the quality of the PSU matters for 2 reasons:
1) If it is too low of quality you will need to put more money into buying a better one right off the bat
2) It is a good measurement of the user. If it is good the seller likley took good care of the PC, while if it is the cheapest crap you can get your hands on you can be pretty sure the PC was very abused.

Am I missing something I feel like an idiot because most videos on YouTube show this pairing easily running its games on high to ultra including gta battlefield battlefront overwatch etc
