Laptop Toshiba P200 Uggrade

I have Satellite P200 (PSPB0C-RT508C), I want to change the 2X1GB to 2X2Gb and change the hard drive to a ssd. I want to put WIndows 7 in it. Do I really need the special pre-installed software that came with the laptop with vista?

The answer, of course, depends on "what special pre-installed software?" I don't have one of those here in front of me, so I can't see. 90% chance that the answer is "get rid of that nasty bloatware."

Note that you will have to download the appropriate drivers for Windows 7. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they still have current drivers for a machine that old. http://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=1777156&osId=29

However, I have to ask - where did you get a copy of Win7?

Update: I got the guy who build pcs to sell me a licence and i removed the old hdd and installed a ssd. Put the drivers and works like a charm. Good for some more years for 500 cdn$
