I am looking to building my first ever pc soon and have been looking at builds and composing a part list. Also I have been looking at completed builds with similar parts to mine, whilst doing so, I saw that the stock cooler for the i5 7500 has a red/yellow power cable. I am shooting for an all black interior with white LED's. Is it okay for me to wrap the cable in black electric tape? Are there any replacement cables anywhere I can purchase? Thanks! <3

Look up sleeving, much better than attempting to cover it in tape.
No you really can't change the wires, they will be soldered to the fan. For theme builds, just pick out an aftermarket cooler with the appropriate colors.
