Monitor stops receiving a signal when CPU is under load

First off, here are the specs that matter

Ryzen 7 1700 (3.7ghz all core oc w/ stock wraith cooler)
XFX RX 480
EVGA G2 650w
Asus Prime X370-Pro

Now, I find this issue quite odd and would greatly appreciate any help I can get. In regular usage, being web browsing, playing games etc I haven't ran into this issue. Only when the CPU is heavily under load does it happen, so when rendering video or using a CPU stress test like Prime95. My monitor will say it has stopped receiving a signal, my system will remain on, and the only way to remedy it is by forcing my system to shut down (holding the power button).

I think you've either undervolted or overvolted that overclock. Could you give us more specifics on what you changed during the OC? Does this still occur when you revert settings to default mobo profile?

I'm not currently home so I could provide you with more detailed information later, however all I've changed is the FID and DID values to achieve the 3.7ghz clock speed. Cpu vcore is set to auto. This was my first build and I have absolutely no experience overclocking so this very well might be the problem, thanks for your reply!
