Hello,

Recently my pc has had issues of restarting while loading the maps of games (csgo) and even after finishing a round (h1z1).

I bought a new gpu, because the technician I visited said that it could be the gpu failing or possibly the psu underpowering the gpu.

I have been using the onboard graphics of the i5 cpu that I have, and I can play csgo and h1z1 with no problem, without restart, for hours. However, I have to deal with the lower fps that this yields.

At this point I think it must be the psu, I have an evga 650w gold rated power supply.

I have tried different gpu cords that come w/ the psu, and even a different gpu connection slot on the psu itself.

The technician used a 1050 ti, which didn't use any psu power, and he said that he did not experience a restart.

Any thoughts or suggestions before I shell out more money for a new psu?

Then i guess its the psu problem.. Maybe give it a test trying a different PSU depending on how much the mobo or the graphic consumes power(watts)

I use a GTX 750 Ti with a gigabyte mobo and ive bought a cheap psu with 1000 watts power supply which is enough for my PC setup when it comes to power consumption..

If the PSU is the reason then that would be the only solution to fix it by buying a new one instead.

and i think buying a new 1050 Ti gpu would be more expensive than buying a new psu.. so its up to your choice, but i recommend...

It's just a sudden restart. There's no freeze it seems. It's just a load screen for the map and restarts the pc. There's never a freeze. Always a sudden restart. And the new gpu is an msi rx 480.
