How much can I sell this rig for?

Solution
Well a Z97 board will make a difference, certainly make it more appealing to buyers and validates the cooler.

Problem with $1500: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NjTjKZ , all new parts, and better.

So you might be able to ask $1000, but don't expect to get it.

You might manage something like $150 for the monitor. Not exactly the most desirable a 5ms TN Panel, and they can be bought new for around $200.

Keyboard, Mouse and Headset, someone willing to buy them certainly won't pay top dollar.

Really nothing wrong with the system. From experience I can tell you that the CPU performance difference between an overclocked 4770k and an i7-7700k is only 20%, and that won't translate directly into gaming performance. If you are selling to...

Maybe $750 for the computer.

Monitor would be best to sell separately.

Not sure on the peripherals.

Just not a good set really. H97 board with a K class CPU. Kind of makes the h80i a little overkill and an added expense to the buyer.

GTX780 was decent at the time, but is a little dated now. GTX1060 outperforms it and you can buy new off the shelf PCs with similar specs for around that much.

If you were to drop a new GPU in this it would be fine to keep using.

If you swap the motherboard out for a Z97, you could overclock the CPU.

Thank you. Actually the motherboard is Asus Maximus VII Hero I just selected that motherboard because it was the closest in price since the Hero had no price anymore. Damn that sucks I was hoping I could at least sell it for $1500.

If you are selling to build a new rig, you could just pick up a new GPU and keep on rolling.

I upgraded only so I could make my 4770k available for another system.

Thank you very much. I might go with your advice and just get a new GPU instead of selling it. Thanks again for the help.
