Just got the XB3 gateway, cannot connect anything using ethernet cables like the older model

We just got a new modem installed on Monday since the old one stopped working last week. This XB3 gateway won't allow us to connect with any of the 4 ethernet ports on the back like we used to be able too. We use those lines for tvs and game systems to get online which is a problem for us. Any solutions besides the typical reset modem/router stuff, tried like 20 times with no permanent success. Only last for a few min, then it's gone again. Wifi works fine btw, just can't use anything else

Hello... Have you logged into the modem and checked the setting for those ports?

I have not tried that, need to figure out what the info would be also. It's my girlfriends parents house

Just to check, you have called your ISP and had them provision the modem, yes?

Hello... Since you are using multi ports and special uses... typically you just need to log in and do some fiddling with them... 'defaults" for those ports may have them Disabled... Typically you can Download the PDF manual for these items... give them a look over before going over there B ) might impress them B D ( the reason you came here first? )

sorry for not responding so soon, turns out they gave me a faulty modem. Everything is up and running good now with the new one. Thanks all for the help
