I have two samsung 950 pro's, both 512 gb, I want to combine them, one is PCIe and another in the m.2 slot, can I still do that? Through PCIe I see speed decrease, 1100mb read/write vs m.2 slot - 1700/1800....
I'm not sure if you can properly set them up in a RAID array, but the only real benefit from SSD RAID is if you're using for parity/mirroring. You won't get any worthwhile speed increase from a striped RAID config, not with SSD.

m.2 is a pci-e x4. I would not mix two drives of different speeds. Not sure if your PCI-e card is only using 1x or what but if they are the same chip they SHOULD have the same throughput.

Seriously bad idea.
You would move down to the speed of the slowest, if that.
