Help with fan RPM in PC

I'm not really a super "tech-savvy" guy, so I thought I would go on here to ask my questions. Looking at my temperatures of my PC, they are relatively low, with the maximum temperatures getting to about 105ish degrees in Fahrenheit (So about 40ish degrees Celsius) when I'm gaming. However, my fan speeds at these temperatures seem to sky rocket. When I'm watching YouTube videos/very minimal work my fan RPM is around 2500 with my CPU temperature being around 85-91 degrees Fahrenheit (30-33 Celsius), and when I'm gaming the speed goes all the way up to 4000 to even 5000 sometimes. But like I said previously, the temperatures aren't that high, and from what I've read are either average or below average. So my question is why are the fans spinning at such a high RPM? And is there any way to manually change the fan RPM to a lower setting? (The sound of the fan is basically annoying me)

Thank you so much for any answers, they are all appreciated.

Sorry to crash this thread but if you want to lower the RPMs of your fans I'd say take a look in your motherboard BIOS for some options on fan RPMs. If you're not sure how to access that, simply...
Well your temps are fine, probably because your fans are working so hard.

You can get new fans that are quieter, better ones cool as well as higher speed ones but at lower speeds, but are more expensive.

You can also afford to go up a few degrees, 40c at load is oddly low.

But you could also use software to control fanspeeds (possibly, only more advanced fans have trully controllable speeds, less advanced ones only have low and high speed settings.)

I don't really think changing any parts in my computer is an option for me right now. (Broke College student) Is there anything I can possibly do to lower RPM? You said I could afford to go up a few degrees so could manually lowering RPM's be an option?

Sorry to crash this thread but if you want to lower the RPMs of your fans I'd say take a look in your motherboard BIOS for some options on fan RPMs. If you're not sure how to access that, simply restart your PC and just before it loads up the windows logon screen, press the "delete" or "F12" key (it varies depending what motherboard you have) and the BIOS menu should be there.

Hope that helps!
