What SkyNetRising said. Don't put one end in, then try to put the other end in. Doing it that way, it'll just get wedged in there crooked.

Use a fair amount of force on both ends of the stick so that both ends go into the slot at the same time. If a latch moves but doesn't close the whole way, just push the latch into place. If the latch doesn't move on its own even a little, the stick is likely not seated in the slot correctly.

All ram slots are the same. You should be able to do this.

I'v got the pictures here. See the ram sits fine in the blue slots, but in the black slots, I can only get one end in. With the black slots, no matter how hard I push, the ram won't go it. There's nothing stuck in the slots also.

Guys I got it to go in both the black sockets also. I just needed to apply a lot of force to get it in but it went in and works. I was nervous about applying a lot of force, I'm 15 and this is the first computer I build that's acually fairly good so you can see why that is. So thank you all for helping me out, I appreciate it.

You're welcome.

If you think DDR3 takes too much force to seat in troublesome slots, you would have hated the days when DDR2 was king. I've punctured my fingers pushing on the corners of DDR2 sticks trying to get them to seat. Still better than the old days when you had to solder RAM to the boards. Nowadays there's no excuse for burning yourself with the soldering gun because you don't need it in the first place.
