One day my GPU HD7770 stop sending video , the pc didnt recognise it, it was like it wasnt connected, straight to the integrated graphics.

Thought it was dead so I bought a HD 7850. It didnt work and my HD7770 came back from the dead before i sold it as junk. So i thought the motherboard Acer Ipimb-AR was the fault.

Sold my HD7770 and bought a used GA-H61M-S1 (rev. 2.0), same problem with the 7850, the guy gave me a used GA-H61M-S1 (rev. 2.2) instead, same problem and told me that my CPU I5-3330 was the problem.

Never heard of that and couldnt find the answer if that can be true

Any ideas? Im pretty desperate.

The PSU is a Sentey BRP 500W, checked the connection a lot of times, the option to put the PCI-E as primary display doesnt appear and the bios is updated.

Cheers

EDIT: It seems to be some compatibility issue between the 7850 and the H61s, tested on 4, even changing CPUs without results. Tested on a h81 and it worked

The one thing you're not suspecting is more likely your problem..

The chances of a CPU 'failing' are slim.

That "500W" PSU is actually a 318W PSU where it matters. How old is it?

The CPU is a 77W, and your 7770 was 80W (+maybe 100W max for the balance of your system). Then the 7850 you tried to replace it with added 50W (130W card)
You were operating at ~80% of the PSUs actual capacity before the GPU upgrade under a good load...... and that's when the PSU was new.

How old is the PSU? Assuming similar age to the i5, it's somewhere around 4-5 years old?
That kind of degration on a poor PSU...... coupled with the fact you've replaced almost everything else..... it sounds like it's time for a PSU upgrade.

Yea its a pretty old PSU, but today i tested the HD7850 with the same PSU on a Mother Asrock B150M-HDS with a Intel G4560 Pentium and it run it (Was without the HDD and cd reader). We where only on the BIOS and dont know the watts calculations for that.

Shouldnt at least run it on iddle with my previous set up? Although you make me wonder about the hd7770 comeback.
