Can you use any LGA 1151 motherboard for the i7 7700k?

Hi, i was looking to build a new computer but wanted to know if i can use any type of lga 1151 motherboard for the 7700k or does it have to be z170 / z270? thanks
 
Solution
You can use any (X)200 for sure, but for (X)100 chipset you will need to check with the manufacture and see if a bios update is available. Since the chips are very close in specs, all the boards should in theory support it, but without a bios update for the new CPU ID it will not boot.

I can almost guarantee any companies that made a Z170 board has a update to support the i7 7770k. Since those are high profile motherboards. They lower ends ones like H170 or B170 will depend on the company.
