Hello.

I have one external RAIDON GR5630-WSB3+(4bay 3.5" RAID SafeTANK) HDD: ( http://www.raidon.com.tw/RAIDON2016/product.php?id=19 ) and 2 computers.

The HDD is connected to one computer trough eSATA and to the other computer trough USB 3.0.

eSATA takes priority and when i want to use the HDD for the USB computer i simply unplug the eSATA. if i want to use the HDD with the eSATA computer i simply plug it back in.

My question is: is there an easier way to "share" or "switch" the HDD between the 2 computers? Because unplugging and plugging back the cable every time is rather... difficult / time consuming / etc.

EDIT: Using network "tricks" does not work since the eSATA computer is not allowed to connect to a network or to be connected to the USB computer in a network. Both of them should be considered "unavailable for networking".

Thank you in advance.

one has USB the other one has eSATA. Can't use USB on both since the one with eSATA does not have USB 3.0, and speed is very important.

After much deliberation i decided to put it in a closed network by using a netgear gigabit Switch since i could not find a better solution. Thanks for the ideas anyway.
