Hi,

Firstly, thank you for the many hours of reading though the many threads in this forum! Although, I don't feel particularly qualified to contribute, I do gain a lot from reading the healthy (usually!) debates that go on!

I am building my most ambitious (and expensive) yet before I be made redundant from my job! It is a gaming PC, and when I do get time to game, I want it to be a full-on, no compromise 4k 60fps on Ultra Settings and enjoy it for all it's glory on my 65" Samsung top-notch TV and Dali Zensor 5.1 system with Yamaha amp!

I am planning:

Phanteks Enthoo Pro-M (Glass)
i7-7700k
NZXT X60 Cooler - front radiator mounting
MSI Z270 Pro Carbon
GTX 1080Ti (an OC'd one when they are released, even details are sparse atm!)
750W EVGA G2
16/32GB RGB RAM?
2x250GB SSD in RAID 0 (because I have them spare)
1TB HDD

I want to completely bling the PC and so be one that I'll be happy with for many years to come, as well as to show off of course!

My questions are concerning lighting to take advantage of the 'Mystic Light' functionality on the MB.

1. To my knowledge there are two RGB RAM available; Corsair and G-Skill. Are there any more that I am missing?

2. Will the lighting on the RAM sync with the lighting scheme set by the MB?

3. Some advice on recommended LED Lighting Strips please? They must again be compatible with the 'Mystic Light' feature on the MB. I know that the MB has a PWM for LED fans .

4. With all of this going on, in your opinion, would it be worth getting a couple of RGB fans too? Or would it be overkill?

Many thanks in advance for your responses, and apologies if I end up posing many more questions as a result.

As an update, I really like the look of the NZXT Hue LED strips. If I were to get the extension kit only (no Hue+ controller) would the 4 pin connecters from LED to MB enable the LED to be run by the 'Mystic Light' MB feature?

This statement from the MSI website seems to suggest it would?

MYSTIC LIGHT EXTENSION
MSI's Mystic Light Extension pinheader provides an intuitive way to control additional RGB strips added to a system, without needing a separate RGB controller. By simply connecting any 12V RGB LED strip to the 4-pin Mystic Light Extension RGB-strip header gamers can sync colors to any style they choose.
